Just what sort of housing should we build for our people and our children? Does what we build says everything about us?

Credenhill CLT is not a Housing association, it purpose is not to house the maximum number of people at the lowest cost. Our aim is to build quality homes that are future proof and as environmentally sound as possible. We live in the countryside and as such the building should reflect that. Credenhill has house styles from the 1600s to the present day - we're a living, growing community and the houses we'll build will reflect that.

Here's a few other CLTs and some of the amazing things they've done.

Lyvennet CLT
Lyvennet Community Trust have already built homes for their people to rent and part-own.
They've led the way in many respects and there are now over 250 CLTs in England.

Lyvennet Community Trust
This is just the first stage. Mixing private housing a affordable housing has invigorated the village and community.

The Buthcher's Arms
....And not just housing. Their CLT decided the village needed a Pub so they got one. It just takes a few people to say 'lets just do it'. The Pub is owned by the community via their CLT and its fame is now world wide (no really it's famous!)

Ummmm....No
Well....No, the palm trees might be a problem!

Something more like this....?
We're building for the future and we're building for us. We choose, no one else.
